Enroute

Hey! Hope you don’t notice that this post was being worked on but did not make it on time but I guess, it’s better later than never! Cheers to a Latte’

With technology and the ubiquitous availability of information through different means, we are able to search, learn and take steps that we normally would think 3 or 4 times about it. That is part of the advantage of having access to laptops, web, wifi, search engines, etc…

This trip has been in the making for almost a decade, but of course, we have been blessed with 2 more wonderful daughters that needed both of us around. I thank my co-parent for being a wonderful mother to my 2 characters – this is my pet name for them,

Well,here it goes.

April 1, 2009  I am not really going to Paris. Gotcha! April Fool’s Day! ON a more serious not, I did have my itinerary all planned out a month ago and even asked some friends to join me for side trips after my daily workshops. Due to work and family schedules, prior commitments, etc. , they couldn’t make it. I did get a referral from a fellow coach that I thank so much for introducing me to a 1 year old start up that needed some shoving and brainstorming about how the year went.

That is what I do. Once I make contact and feel that the intake interview went well, they are provided several options and approaches due to the needs as of that time.

I don’t tell them what to do and what not, I simply guide and work with them together as a mentor and a coach – whether it is career related, life changing events or health stuff. In which case, when the level of approach is beyond my ability to help, I do work and refer them to my health affiliates.

* iTouch was loaded with over 650 songs and 23 music videos by our family friend and fellow Xaverian, Arthur De Vera. I requested it specifically for my long journey to Paris.

WOW, Art – that was amazing.

April 2, 2009

That was special. I had dinner with my co-parent, Maria and our 2 daughters at one of our favorite restaurants in small town San Mateo.

I asked that for my birthday present, I would want to not receive but to get something that our daughters were so eager to have. See, they just moved to a new 2 BR condo and one weekend, my 2 daughters and I went to IKEA and selected the bed that they wanted.

DONE! My co-parent gets the mattress and I get the bed frame and homework desks, which by the way – I already have the desks sitting in my office for almost several months.

WHEW! More room for me and new shelves for my books, of some have been sitting on several corners of the floor and piling up 15 books high!  Yay!
